Elder Victory Ubi has formally declared his intention to contest for the position of State Speaker of the Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN), Cross River State Chapter, under the banner of service delivery and trust.
In a statement accompanying his campaign launch, Ubi emphasised that leadership extends beyond titles. “For me, leadership is not about titles; it is about responsibility, vision, consistency and the courage to make a difference,” he said.
He described the decision as a renewed commitment to the ideals he holds and the people he seeks to serve. “I am ready to bring fresh ideas, strengthen our collective voice and contribute meaningfully to the growth and progress of the Assembly,” Ubi stated.
Guided by the principle of identism, his roadmap focuses on strengthening YAN’s institutional structure, enhancing youth representation and empowerment, providing clear legislative direction, advancing leadership development, building strategic partnerships, prioritising welfare and inclusion, improving media visibility, and entrenching accountability and continuity.
Ubi’s campaign materials carry the slogan “Service Delivery Mandate on Trust,” with the tagline “For Service. For Reform. For the People.”
